What services do you offer? Timber Lodge Retreats is a licensed property management company in South Dakota. Timber Lodge Retreats is the rental agent for the property owner. Guests are required to sign a rental agreement.

Why should I purchase Travel Insurance? Travel Guard’s All Seasons Travel Plan is recommend for all reservations. The cost is 7% of the reservation total. In the event a reservation must be cancelled after the cancellation deadline no refunds will be given. Click here for additional information.

What is a booking fee? There is a one time booking fee charged for each property based upon the size of the rental. Some properties also require the purchase of a Damage Protection Plan.

Do you offer vacation packages or concierge services? Yes, packaging services are available for the major attractions, ski rentals, snowmobiles, ATV’s. Need reservations for tours, golf tee times, shuttle services or dinner shows? Timber Lodge Retreats can also stock your vacation rental with groceries upon request. Please call office for information on these and other services.

What amenities are included with Timber Lodge Retreats vacation homes? Towels, linens, outdoor grill, hair dryers, basic soap products, toilet paper, and paper towels.

What are the kitchens supplied with? Stove, Refrigerator, Coffee Pot, Toaster, and Microwave. Dinnerware, Glassware and Silverware for the occupancy of the home. Basic cookware and utensils are also provided. Please contact the office for additional information.

What is the check out procedure? Please remember to check drawers, closets, and nightstands for personnel items. Please place all bagged trash in the dumpster provided. The rental needs to be secured and the keys returned to the office. Guests will be charged a fee of $10 for each key not returned.

Can I bring my pet? Dogs are allowed at Bond’s Barn only; guests are required to purchase the $69 damage protection plan. Pets are not to be left unattended in the rental.

Is there smoking allowed? There is NO SMOKING allowed inside of any of Timber Lodge Retreats rental properties. Guests may smoke outside, please dispose of waste in provided receptacles. Guests are responsible for adhering to outdoor smoking bans when in effect.

Can we exceed the maximum occupancy? Each of our rental properties displays the maximum number of guests allowed. Timber Lodge Retreats does not allow these numbers to be exceeded. The majority of our properties are serviced by private well and septic systems, when guest numbers are exceeded problems may arise. Guests who exceed the maximum number of advertised occupants will be asked to leave and NO REFUNDS will be given.

What is the reservation deposit? Timber Lodge Retreats requires a 50% deposit when the reservation is made. This deposit is nonrefundable for reservations made for Holidays and Special Events. Mountain Meadow Cabins are pre-sold and all deposits are non-refundable. Reservations made within 60 days of arrival will require payment in full at time of booking.

What is the Cancellation Policy? Our cancellation policy is 60 days. Payment is due in full at this time. Reservations over Holidays and Special Events are nonrefundable. Timber Lodge Retreats recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance. No refunds will be given. All cancellations are a accessed a $50 fee.

Do you require Damage Deposits? Damage deposits are not collected, in the event of any damage or theft charges will be billed to the registered guest. Timber Lodge Retreats does recommend the purchase of the Damage Protection Plan. Cost is $45 for $1500 of coverage and $69 for $3000 of coverage.

Where do we pick up keys and check in? Guests check in at our office, detailed directions will be given to the guest at that time. Weekend and after hours check ins, please call for instructions.
